EA Sports has both given and taken away fuel from doubters today as it has released a trailer for NBA Live 13. While no set release date has been given, it has been revealed that the game will not make a mid-October debut, which is typical for basketball games, coinciding with the beginning of the NBA season.
The delay is most likely caused by the rebuilding of the entire NBA Live engine by the EA Sports team. The trailer (which can be viewed above), however, does not seem to show much more detail than its 2K Sports counterpart. The only purpose it seems to serve is that of quelling the rumors that we might not see an NBA Live game at all this year.
Hopefully we’ll get some solid information on NBA Live 13 in the weeks to come.
