Being Valentine’s Day and all, I think it’s important that you know the reason that ThatSportsGamer.com even exists. While there are a handful of people who keep ThatSportsGamer.com and ThatSportsGamer Show alive, (Scott Bins, Jeff Solomon, Ryan Lewis), there is only one person that made it happen.
Without the support from my lovely wife, Erika, this site would never have been started. If it wasn’t for her, never in a million years would I have the confidence to start this site. The confidence she has in me to be able to do this is what made it happen. Whenever I need a kick in the butt to get something done, she is there.
I know it hasn’t been easy on her, specifically after a game launches, and I walk in from work, ask how her day was, then lock myself in my office for hours on end. Or the late nights where she goes to sleep and I’m up editing ThatSportsGamer Show till 2am.
So no one should thank me for this site, they should be thanking her for giving me the ability to do it, because without her, I’d probably still be sitting in my parents basement playing video games unproductively, rather than sitting in my office playing video games semi-productively.
I love you Erika, and thank you for everything you’ve done, and everything you have lead me to do.
